Our Mission
An invisible sea of foster kids is in crisis today simply because society believes they are “too old” to be loved. Our mission is to remind society that foster kids of all ages are valuable and worthy of love–that every kid should have at least one person who will always be there for them.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every kid who leaves foster care finds at least one person who will be there for them—to answer life’s questions, share a laugh and a tear, or simply to hug and be hugged back.
FosterOn works within and beyond the traditional foster care system to ensure that every kid has at least one person who will always be there for them. We focus on youth ages 12 and up to:
Shed light on the plight of foster kids whom society believes are “too old” to be loved
Activate volunteers and donors to get involved in the lives of these kids
Provide ongoing support of the relationships that are formed
